Desmon M.

Hello World.

My name is Desmond Miller and I’d like to take a moment to recognize the magnificent Miss Felecia Walker as my Career Development Coach. I first met Miss Felecia when she hosted the Next Level Leadership Conference partnered by the BBA back in March.

Her presence was very profound to say the least throughout the conference. I recognized her to be a strong woman of character and faith, very well spoken, very polite. You can tell she really cared through the way she spoke, you can tell she genuinely wants you to get to the next level. She teach, she’s life changing career practices and concepts that can apply to anybody’s situation.

In a short time, I got to speak and engage with MS Felecia. She taught me so many different things when it comes to not only my professional career, but my personal life as well. With all the wisdom and the knowledge, I was able to acquire from Miss Felecia, it allowed me to begin my new career as a financial service professional with New York Life insurance company. Why financial services you may ask, because too often in the black community, you are left with the burden of not only having to bury a loved one, but to also have to collectively come together to provide means to bury their loved ones. When we should be able to grieve in peace and simply establish generational wealth through the proceeds of a life insurance policy. I honestly just look to add value and to be of service to people in my community through financial education.

Thank you so much Miss Felecia Walker for helping me realize and understand my true calling into the world. I appreciate everything.
