The Focus Group by Felecia

Felecia Higgs Walker is the Founder and CEO of The Focus Group by Felecia, which is the ultimate career progression company that focuses on the professional, life-changing work it takes to land the job of your dreams and elevate your career to the highest level.

Felecia is a mother, counselor, and friend to three sons, ages 23, 21, and 16. She has over 12 years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience, 2.5 years of transportation sales experience, and over 10 years of social work experience. After being laid off in 2017 and taking a 60% pay cut to work for another company, Felecia began to intentionally navigate her workspace and later tripled her salary within three years.

She now teaches people how to identify their WHY, learn the Art of Networking, and how to Master the Job Interview. She is committed to helping others change their lives through real-world career guidance. Since the inception of her company, Felecia has worked with over 1,000 students from School Systems, College Campuses, and the online job-seeking community. Felecia has spoken to corporations, city organizations, and community groups about career progression and the art of networking. The Focus Group by Felecia has also served in the tech space through business and website development for small business owners, non-profit organizations, and foundations.

Felecia Higgs Walker is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Felecia believes in the value of continued education, but also stands behind the non-traditional career path population.
